Newsletter Delivery- Each month our CCWC Newsletter is hand-delivered to all the homes in Coosaw Creek. If anyone would like to volunteer to help with the delivery, please contact Ellie Sheehan or Nancy Friend.

Let's Help Our Schools- We are currently collecting Campbell's soup labels, empty ink- jet cartridges, and boxtop labels for our local school. The local school earns money for each item collected. Please contact Monique Wilsondebriano or Kris Brockmann if you would like to make a donation.
Dorchester Habitat for Humanity Women's Build- A building project will commence on site beginning in April, on Thursdays from 8am to 12noon, and Saturdays from 8am to 3 pm. Anyone who would like more information or an application,can go to www.marwind.net/habitat.pdf

Garden Club News - The Garden Club will be having a guest speaker on February 23, 2010 at 1pm at the Club. Elizabeth Ward, from "Matthew Ward Landscapes," will talk about new ways to landscape with lighting, irrigation, and water-features, plus their new line of fountain sculptures and concrete sculptures. BOOK DONATIONS- Liz Fallon is looking for book donations and magazines to stimulate the Literacy program at her high school. Students are reading each day, and will benefit from books, magazines/periodicals. Anyone wishing to donate books, may drop them off at her home at 4428 Wild Thicket Lane. A box will be available on her porch for donations.
New Neighbor Brunch- A "New Neighbor Brunch" will be held on March 19, 2010, at 11am. Debbie Adrian will be hosting the Brunch, and all CCWC members, as well as new neighbors to the Coosaw Creek Community are invited. Please RSVP to Debbie Adrian, at 760-9962, 8777 Herons Walk.
CCWC evening meeting, Monday March 1, 2010 at 7 pm- VOTE FOR THE CHARITIES OF YOUR CHOICE All CCWC members are urged to attend the March 1st meeting. Any charity seeking sponsorship of the CCWC will be making their presentation at the March meeting that evening. Please be there to vote on which charities are most deserving of our hard-earned monies! |
CCWC Charities for 2010- Anyone interested in seeking sponsorship for their charity is encouraged to attend the March, evening meeting and make their presentation. The membership will then vote on which charities they'll select for 2010.

Helping Hands- Anyone needing assistance with doctors appointments, prescription refills, meals, etc., following an illness or surgery, should contact Debbie Adrian or Ellie Sheehan. There are many women in the community who are on the commitee, and are willing to provide assistance.
Ladies Luncheon- Brenda Cosker is organizing a Ladies Luncheon on the second Thursday of each month. The next luncheon will be held on Thursday, March 11 th at 12pm at the Club. Reservations are required, and can be made by contacting the Club or Brenda Cosker: terrycosker@bellsouth.net

2010 Coosaw Creek Women's Club Luncheon- The Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Anyone interested in volunteering to help on any of the committees, can call Ann Eno at 552-8909.The Decorations Committee is in need of pastel and white, silk flowers. If you are able to make a donation, contact Sally Marshall at 243-0182, or drop them off at 4219 Clubcourse Drive. Acollection box will be on the front porch. |

Donations to Service Men and Women - All donations collected at the CCWC Luncheon were sent to our Service Men and Women overseas. The CCWC mailed fifteen boxes filled with snacks and hygiene products. In response to our donation, a flag was donated to the CCWC, along with a letter of thanks. The flag and letter are framed, and located in the lobby of the Clubhouse. |
